  • cazzo!!!ma nn è un augusta!!!è un bell e basta!!!gnurant

  • es privado?

  • agusta bell?

    is bell! no more!

  • This one was built in Italy in license. So thats why is she Agusta-Bell.

  • ah ok is a italian helicopter...

  • You have to love that sound!

  • AHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGAH wat da RPM

  • ah-goose-ta

  • how do u pronounce agusta?

  • Where does the Agusta come in to play? Were they purchased by the mother company of Bell?

  • The Agusta company bought the license to manufacture the Bell 206 model.

  • they they have 2 engines? it sounds like they have 2 engines starting up on take-off?

  • No, the Bell 206 helicopters have only one Allison 250C20 engine. The sound you heard, is the moment when the kerosene is inflamed (at 00:08).

  • @czegeny < Holy crap, THANK YOU for saying Kerosene. People thing jet fuel is some bad ass super stuff but it just regular everyday kerosene, for Helos at least, Jet liner fuel has a coagulant added so it doesn't vaporize and fireball during a crash. Maybe helos use the new stuff now but it's still just household Kerosene with that simple anti- fog additive.

  • Nope! The 47 does though! ;)

  • he means that the first jet sound is the starter engine spooling the main engine up then it ignite the fuel till the main engine can run without the starter engine

  • the best helicopter on the WORLD . . .

  • engine and rotor tacho match? ok let's t.o.

  • It has nothing to do with it being digital or analog. It has to do with the frames per second of the camera. The higher the frame rate the more images it will capture and it will appear to be moving correctly.

  • Objects rotating at certain speeds can seem to be counter-rotating but this is just an optical illusion.

  • Yes, you are absolutely right. But the really reason is that the film was shot with a digital still camera. If the camera were analog, this wouldn't happen.

  • when saying analog you mean with film like cinema? and may i ask something? i have seen people near helicopter keeping their heads down but the ones on the vid are not. why?

  • This depends of the hight of the main rotor, that means how much the main rotor is above ground, respectively. This depends on the type of helicopter, but also on its equippnent. For example, the Bell 206 Jet Ranger is available with low skids and with high skids.

  • Very nice, I love Bell Jet Rangers. They have plenty of them in the movie "Blue Thunder", but one thing looks confusing, when I watch the video the tail rotor seems to start rotating clockwize to the rear, and quickly seems to change to counter clockwize to the front. So which way does it really turn to counteract torqu?

  • In this movie it really turns clockwise. That means, the lower rotorblade of the tail rotor moves towards the front of the helicopter, the upper rotorblade moves towards the tail.
