Folks! Gt 40 came with 2 engine only! It was the "351" and the "427" that produce 618 hp...there no 289 or 302 engine...and the 427 will beat the GTR on top speed anytime...but GTR is a sport Turbo car fast and easy to drive, not like the Gt40, Race car... so! why compare this 2 cars? only for fun...but like you know Gt40 = Legend ....but GTR will come a Lengend one day, but this video is stupid cause, a fake Gt 40 car with a GM engine...wow! not realistic. just bullshitt...sorry guys!

350 is GM and 351 is a Windsor V8 by FORD. The guy in the video is worng, lol at chevy 351. But by the looks of the valve cover it might be a Ford 351. Then again there are so many valve covers with the same ridge design. Who cares, its a replica, it's not like he took a real gt and threw in a chevy motor, that would be a sin.

@arileswolf I'm a die-hard Ford fan. Got a 1964 Galaxie myself... But the R34 GTR Nur Spec has the fastest time of any production car around the Nurburgring course. You have to give credit where credit is due... But a REAL Le Mans Ford GT is a work of art. I had the pleasure to BS with Lee Holman for a few hours, son of the great John Holman of Holman Moody fame (who built the VERY first GT) and he had that first one with him... Talk about beauty! The way the headers are run from that huge 427!
