  • I like this video whin I'm working on my 2 cycle 80cc bike thats how I start it cool.

  • nice man, i love old engines and 2 strokes, but i would hate to see the bore of that one after cranking it DRY for 30 or so seconds... might be a little scuffed up, next time, might wanna put some lube in the cylinder, or mixed fuel if that's your pref. nice though

  • looks like a mk3g actully

  • looks like a mk2g

  • I recon this engine needs a good points clean, from the speed it has to run to keep running it would sound like a poor spark.

Nice engine anyway, I have a 1920's 147cc midget myself, but had one more similar to this a while back. Great engines!

  • what is the hp on this thing

  • 1hp at 3000rpm

  • @steamwally ok thanks I did some more research the 1hp thing is wrong off of today standards the engines back when they made this where rated using this formula (lift 1000lbs 1 ft up in 1 mini is 1 hp ) well that formula is true hp and the formula used nowadays is a system that overrates the power so this engine is more like 3hp or so now due to the formula change around the 50"s

  • Interesting! Why can't they leave a formular that works alone lol

Oh well, I'll go by the calculation back in the day i think :)

  • @steamwally haha well yea thats politics I guess and you could put this on a moped and not get in trouble in areas with limited hp by using the old rating

well, nice vid keep em coming
