BlackBerry Charging Pod for the Torch 9800 Review

I wanted to buy this charging pod and I've bought the original RIM hard shell case for 9810. I do read some reviews of this charging pod not working with ANY case on, and that the only way to use it is to take off the casing each time. But then again, I never seen anyone reviewing the original RIM case that I bought, and most cases that people use are either thick silicone, bulky plastic cases and all that (non-RIM made). I wonder if this works with the original RIM case ACC-39793-301?

if you leaved your phone charging for too long the battery can get damage right???? or in this case its stop charging?
