I think it was beautifully aniimated so smooth, but the characters didn't have much natural movement. When you move another body part on the character think about how that would effect the rest of the person's body movement wise. This includes hair, back, posture, the little things count. Hope this is useful and not annoying. But it really was enjoyable to watch so great job. *likes*

Thanks and your opinion is highly valued, however "I don't like this one" doesn't seem like particularly constructive criticism ;-) As wonderful as KatieM7's video is I cant help but feel that it was a completely different (and far more literal) take on the song than mine and therefore difficult to compare the two so broadly?

I actually agree with the "not all stars" - In the full version I'm working on the people dive into the ocean and become bubbles haha. Also the pic of the girl is just an outline of a clipart image I got from google - I think its her hair that makes her head look a bit far back. Thanks for your comments - I'm always looking for ideas to improve :-)

LOL well they are stars - maybe their feet are special ;-) Plus I was trying to make her look more like a ballerina - they point their feet. Glad you liked the vid :-)

Do you have an actual flash version (swf or flv) of this anywhere online? Espcially if the dancers are vectors, it would probably look pretty cool that way...

Not online but the original swf does look much better because its not compressed and the quality is so much higher. Its a bit pixelated on youtube sadly.

Thanks Leaffy, I hope so! :-) I used Adobe Flash CS4 to animate it. It was a challenge but I'm just happy that it worked out to be a half decent job in such a short timeframe.

yeah... i have gimp, but i ust used pics in mine. i think it's pretty good, honestly... did you know that i've only found 2 or 3 other videos for the contest? and it ends in a couple weeks. as far as the song, i used audacity and edited it down to 90 seconds:)

I found about 6 or 7 different vids but I dont think they have been labeled properly. to be honest I don't know how well it was advertised. I found out about it quite by accident - I was making this anyway and jumped on you tube for some ideas and found out about it LOL.

I don't think there was anything on MySpace about it - I would have thought Adam would have done a blog on it or something? Too busy touring and having fun haha
