Listening to Wade Allison makes me sick to my stomach. Who is paying him to speak such nonsense? He obviously sold his soul to the devil. Anything for money.
Wade Allison is an Oxford University academic. You can see that he is not inexperienced. He has written a book called Radiation and Reason - Allison is nothing to do with the nuclear industry. He is a serious researcher and what he says is to be listened to carefully, not dismissed by knee-jerk thinking. Be prepared to change your mind, for the sake of those poor people pushed out of their homes who do not need to be evacuated any longer.
Isn't he just representing those who have strongly pushed 'safe and clean' nuclear energy as their money-making big business? So is the interviewer, Nobuo Ikeda, the notorious fake economist who still side with the crazy neo-conservatives. Why don't they willingly come to live here in Fukushima together with their grandchildren.... ? 'Safe' as he insists, 1000 times higher radiation might be waiting for them to come. Welcome to Fukushima!

Please check to enter the accident scene where a robot containing radioactive Fukushima If that is true what you say. Please enter you have to prove safety. Than those exposed.
I´ll start with warning any contiuos person to adapt the meanings of the person interviewed!
He trye to give one the impression that he knows what he´s talking about; but it`s obviously that he don`t!
It`s stated by emperical experiments that ANY additonal exposure to high energy radiation increas the riscs of getting cancer- or to mutate some kromosons....
Hey EvilHenners you are a dimwit. Did you actually watch the video? I live in Tokyo. The radiation levels here, and in Fukushima, are far far lower than that which could adversely affect human health. That's the scientific consensus. You are letting the propaganda machine do your thinking for you.
@CatSymptoms By crackpot you mean extremely highly respected Oxford University Professor and expert in the field of radiation physics? Wade is doing a damn good job in trying to spread a more balanced message about the dangers of radiation compared with the massive media hysteria.
The Chernobyl disaster and the Fukushima plant are really very very different events... . No one is denying Chernobyl was horrific, but Fukushima has been blown completely out of proportion.
@EvilHenners What planet are you on man?? ...massive media hysteria? there has been a media blackout on Fukushima in Europe, the UK and USA... Fukushima blown out of proportion? you must be having a laugh.. get your facts straight, this is worse than Chernobyl, 3 reactors melted through and MOX fuel all over the place... i could go on and on but this comment box is too small...
@CatSymptoms Strange concept of a media blackout you have there - it was reported on far far more than the damage and loss of life caused by the Tsunami itself.
As for being worse than Chernobyl, don't be ridiculous. 3 reactors melting through is quite different from the top of a reactor blowing clean off scattering radioactive debris. 3 bad events does make it worse than 1 catastrophic event...
@EvilHenners Either you are totally ignorant or you have your head so far up your arse you cant see the truth, maybe you should get over here to Japan and see for yourself the propoganda about Fukushima or breathe in the radioactive air in Tokyo because they are burning radioactive waste, or eat a school lunch laced with contamination ... you have no idea what is going on ..... oh and a melt through will be worse than Chernobyl if it hits the groundwater...nuff said
