@miketvs the council didnt. in fact it speaks of the central role of this type of music. the liberals and those who wish to destroy the church from within want you to think that. they stole it from you.
merci au pere loheac qui m a fait aimer cette musique en 1976 en classe de seconde sur son vieux pick up pourri ou que tu sois vieux pere que dieux t accorde toute sa misericorde.
Sanctus Sanctus Sanctus Dominus Deo Sabaoth, pleni sunt caeli gloriae tuae Hosanna in excelsis Benedictus qui venit in nomine + Domine Hosana in excelsis.
Amazing. What an awesome work. I'm going to be singing this mass with the Jam-Session choir (see our video, Magnum Mysterium in St. Louis Cathedral) in a few months -- this will be a huge help to all of us. Thank you for posting!
phrygian means a type of scale, and is different to the - today usual - major or minor scale. If you imagine a piano, a scale between e and e without using any black keys would be phrygian: e f g a b c d e

It surprises me that the church disregarded des Prez's works back then. They were BEAUTIFUL pieces. What were those people thinking?!

Thank you. Most impressive! A musical blessing from the early 16th century brought to us via YouTube. Congrats, choir.

Staggering for this Pange Lingua from Josquin. It's St Clement's Church Boys Choir here? Thank you for this moment.

Saint Clement's Choir directed by Peter Richard Conte. About 18 mixed voices.
Their website has audio and podcasts for download as mp3s.
Just google Saint Clement's Philadelphia.
