I see a least 8 separate riff interchanges here, the music is well written to comply the style, and I also feel quite a bit of emotion here. Matt Barlow is famous for differentiation and syncopation, versing is formed well melodically and their harmonies have great octave variations. I don't know what power metal you listen too, but IE definitely "excites" its fans!
