Israel will not be defended by either the US or Europe should Iran use nukes against Israel. Israel will be forced to retaliate with Nukes against not only Iran but Syrian. The blame for THIS lost goes to the Chicago 2016 team & the mayor, not Obama. Again, there was nothing wrong with our leader (just like the leaders of the other bid cities) going to help their respective countries get the Olympics.
What I take issue with is that people are placing a majority, if not all, of the blame for the lost on Obama & not others. Plus, it's never good for AMERICANS to cheer for our country to lose anything on any level. Where's the pride for our country I ask?

Chicago has many problems to fix & bringing the Olympics here wasn't going to solve them. This isn't Obama's fault at all. He tried to help and that's all anybody could ask. The Olympics are not a financial windfall. London has already exceeded it's budget by a factor of two for the upcoming Olypics. I did not want the Olympics as far back as when they were listed as a finalist during the BUSH presidency. NO other president in the history of this country has EVER made an in person presentation (beg) for the Olympics to be held in the US let alone send his wife on a completely seperate airplane to participate in the same fiasco. Quite frankly I am very happy he went there. I did not give a crap if the Olympics ever came back after Salt Lake almost tanked. But this LOSER bought into his own PR and believed that he was loved all over the world and that he could get the Olympics for Chicago.

Maybe where you live government employees are indicted all the time but not where I live. When you become a government employee you have a special obligation to your fellow taxpayers. Blago who tried to sell Obamas Senate Seat to the highest bidder, another member of the Demonrat Chicago machine and Tony Rezco who helped Dear Leader Obama buy a house for less than half its stated value and you have a few of the connections. Chicago Tribune Poll two days before the final bid showed 47% in Chicago were against Olympics!
