I think you'll find Australia's ranking of 52 has a lot more to do with the lack of games we play than anything else. The Europeans play heaps of games, those in the Americas play heaps of games and we've only just got into the Asian confederation who play more games than we used to. Just take a look at where the USA ends up just before each World Cup, they were Top 10? FIFA's rankings aren't accurate.
