My MF8 is PERFECT. I loosened each screw to pull out exactly 3 mm from the core, and then another half turn to tweak it, and it NEVER pops, but is still fast.

Yours is a Mf8-I, the Mf8-II don't pop.

You have the Mf8-I, if you still have this problem, it shouldn't matter what type it is, try to find the problem, then eliminate it! :P
