They catheterize women awake and the circumcise babies without meds- sometimes lidocaine (as this guy got) which has been shown to be just as painful as nothing at all.
i cannot understand that in this day and age , such a procedure is done while the person is awake , surely there must be an other way , no way would i allow this , no one such have to endure this while awake , the medical proffestion should have a good rethink on this issue , a friend of mine had it done and said it was an horrific procedure and would not have it done again while awake

I had a catheter, luckily for me it was inserted when I was under general anaesthetic, but it hurt like hell when they took it out.
