Those are small PB go by the Miami airport canals and you will catch some huge monsters . your tanks are great looking was watching your other videos I am suprised your PB dont kill each other. There are some in lake down the block from me they are now starting to spawn and each pair holds certain territory they will attack anything that ventures near it.
damn peacock bass!!....seems like a rip off because here in houston pet shops sell them like for $12.00 for little guys....and oscar!!....that would be paradise for cichlid keepers!!!!
it is a yearly roadtrip we take that is approx 20hr drive..then do nothing but drive south florida and the glades fishing for a week...so I hit the highway and leave the other half home every year..LOL
Sounds like a great idea, makes me want to take a week and go down and just fish, I just live a little closer to the glades. I was fishing in a canal near my house the other day and was catching some type of cichlid, found out they were Mayan cichlids, pretty cool knowing you never know what you'll catch. I'd really like to get some Pbass though.
i have a two inch peacock and its a hassle goin to the pet store every two daqys to get guppies, wut do u feed y our peacocks?? i put in soem pellets but he doesnt go after them
man. u r a luck one! I am brazilian. great fishing! near my house I can catch traíras and even peacockbass, I have two of them in my aquarium. I wonder fishing in florida. It might be wonderful. sorry my poor english. so long
yes,but not by me...most are wild caught and imported from brazil, venz, and peru including the cats...I have wild caught jaguars that I caught and a few pbass in a friends tank that I personally have caught.
southern florida is the melting pot of the US..whether it be fish, reptiles, fauna, and even people...you will find a mixed bag of everything there...natives of all species are the "rare" there.
Too true, i live here in south florida and it is such a melting pot. The problem with fish is that the waters stay pretty warm all year round so the non-native fish thrive here. I had a buddy that caught some jaguars a while back for his tank, caught them right out of a canal.
What fish is it at 2:32 Please is it Like a Festae?

where do you think they came from? Those fish arent natural to those waters, people let their fish go and now they have taken over.
bahlaal 2 years ago
which does make it interesting....I mean theres still plenty of perch and bass....so they do make it more interesting!!

This place seems full of wildlife. What is the thing next to the blue pipe at 02.21? a big turtle?

definatly, there is a long list of fish that are not native here that are fully established, makes for some very interesting fishing trips.

I just went fishing today and caught a couple dozen Mayan cichlids, they were a fun catch, not as fun as the Pbass on this vid though.
