I wonder if the fact that someone named Penny attempts to commit suicide during this song has anything to do with the fact that the original Skyliners album was titled "Pennies From Heaven" ...
I still have the original laser disc! and of course the dvd. this movie does something to my mood I can't explain. love it! oh yeah, and Ellan was quite the looker back then...mmm..hmmm!
"No matter where you go, there you are." Truly the best line EVER! Buckaroo Rocks...Peter Weller nailed this work...and lives on forever in this movie. Thank you for the effort, fun and stirring..."what is that watermelon for...I'll tell ya later." Some of the very best lines came from this movie. It makes me smile every time.
"No matter where you go, there you are." My favourite line ever...I love this scene...so much going on...I mean the guy's a genious brain surgeon, particle physicist, leader of a dedicated team of other smart boys/scientists who double as body guards...all musicians to boot...and he still has time to sing, be psychic and sensitive....
the stuff that dreams are made of...wow (the understatement of the century). Awesome scene...and the plot thickens further...love it.
Love the orgasmic reactions from girls in the crowd when he sits at the piano.

Weller was great, but John Lithgow -- Dr. Emilio Lizardo -- stole the movie

@waldman0121 I agree with you (a year later!), but Ellen Barkin's legs just about stole the show. WOOF!
