Washu was always my favourite character in tenchi, just the right mix of sheer insanity and unbelievable cuteness. Hmm i think i can see a pattern developing with why all my relationships end with me handcuffed to a radiator in the top half of a sephiroth costume with my wallet and passport stolen.

Essentially, this anime is about a boy named Tenchi whose life gets turned upside down when he inadvertently releases a space pirate from where she was being kept. And then the space pirate, two Jurian princesses, two galaxy police officers and Washu (the scientist in the vid) all end up living with Tenchi and his father and grandfather.

It's actually a very entertaining anime. I highly recommend it. It isn't as science-fictiony as the vid shows it. It's hysterical though
