the best way to have a high kd is to use only famas(overpowered) and ak74u rapid fire(also overpowered). Have ghost on all your classes because it takes a lot of skill to use and dashboard every other game so your kd will finally reach 1.98.

I prefer the Galil supressed myself, but yeah I started using the Famas until I unlocked the Galil and the Famas was pretty good, but lacked the range that I needed. AK74 had a bit too much uncontrollable recoil for me (grip attachment would obviously help that). But the only reason these people hate those guns, is beacuse they get killed with them constantly. Don't hate the guns, hate the game. Bunch of douce-bags.
