then right after their he cast the evil spirits out into the pigs then the pigs got vex from within was torment then the pigs went to the lake to kill them selves an drown in the water
@79nicademas That's right, and that is an interesting story in and of itself, for by reading Matthew 8:28-34 alongside Mark 5:1-20 to get a real understanding of what is going on here. In Matthew's version we have TWO Demoniacs, and in Mark and Luke we have ONE. Why the difference? Well, Matthew 8:29 gives us a VERY interesting piece of information: "Have you come here to torment us BEFORE THE TIME?" So there is an element of TIME involved. Now are we given any idea as to HOW MUCH time remains?
@79nicademas Absolutely! Mark 9:13 tells us that there were "ABOUT 2,000" of them. Okay, we have ONE herd consisting of about 2,000 pigs. That number corresponds to HOW MUCH BEFORE "THE TIME" it was.... Nearly 2,000 YEARS before the time. Now since there is ONE HERD with about 2,000 pigs, that gives rise to the solution of why there are TWO demoniacs in Matthew and only ONE in Mark. That is because the two are really ONE. The demoniac and the herd both correspond to the CHRISTIAN AGE!
@79nicademas The fact that here is only ONE demoniac in Mark & Luke and TWO in Matthew is only because there are TWO millennia involved in the ONE Christian age. There is a pig and a demon for every year of the Christian era--until "THE TIME" when they are to be "TORMENTED" & "DROWNED" in the "ABYSS." No contradiction, just a different way of presenting the same story in a way that can be broken down & understood prophetically and symbolically. This solves the "Angels at the Tomb" Problem also.
Jesus sounds a bit like Boris Karloff in this video.

Well said brother! Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
God Bless my Brother.
