  • Energy cannot b created or destroyed. So life cannot come from non living materials without some sort of external intelligent source. Genetic information is energy so where did all the genetic information come from in order to make all life? Did the single celled organisms we supposedly all came from have all this genetic information? I highly doubt that single celled organisms could have such mass amounts of genetic information. Where did the genetic information (energy) come from?

  • One of the problems is making the explanation as simple as possible for non-experts to understand. The second law says heat moves from hot to cold, not cold to hot. Simple so far, right? Good, then let's continue. To prove that evolution violates the 2LoT you therefore have to prove that evolution, if true, transfers more heat to the sun than the sun transfers to it.

Even I can follow that. Hopefully the people who have been sucked in by creationist doublespeak can understand it also.

  • @jhbbunch Which doublespeak is that! You are a man, who operates with only a small portion of your mind, you are overintellectualized. Your opinion is based on the needs of this mind, that only understands 1's and 0's. It lacks the probability understanding and lacks gradation. Your 'spectrum' is black and white, not the whole spectrum. You'd probably make an excellant actuary, but the implications of this video, is not your strong suit.

  • @fntime Thx for the gibbering nonsense. You could cut and paste that to anyone's comment on YT and it would be as relevant to their comment as it is to my comment. I did not know that the 2nd law saying heat moves from hot to cold was simply an overintellectualized need of the mind. Or that it only involved 0's and 1's and did not cover the entire spectrum of human thought (/snicker). Bong another one bro'. At this point it can't make you any more incoherent.

  • I only wish I was as intelligent as you. But at least youtube allows me to suck up the brain juices you let seep out.

btw what's the name of the song you use for the first four minutes of the video? I think I recognize the artist but I can't pinpoint it.

keep up the good work. definitely subscribed.

  • Raptors09999

Thanks! It's more about education and willingness to know than intelligence, always.

The song is "Evil", by Interpol.

  • Another good science video! More revision!!! I like your videos because you focus on content. Subscribed!!!

  • my a moron?

  • Excellent in every way! (and I love how you end it to the tune of Mozart's Requiem, too).:o)

  • Thanks SDCmorg, I think this is indeed one of the best I did, all things considered.

  • I wonder how Islamplanet would formulate (within the context of thermodynamics and entropy, ofc) the spontaneous creation of a skipping, hopping bunny rabbit?

    God + Did = It ?

  • phil

Indeed, I find this chanting about entropy and the likes just ridiculous. IslamPlanet at least knows some of the basics, I couldn't deny that. And yet he manages to leave for the tangent, saying nonsensical stuff. Have you ever used the expression "I'm organising my thoughts"? You should start saying: I'm decreasing the entropy of my thoughts. And go public about this blatant violation of thermodynamics.

  • someone having this knowledge of physics/calculus alleging that his ideas are backed up by every scientist in the world is a bold proposition and one must have a very unique mindset, detecting lots of ego, perhaps a wanting to be known, be revered, /shrug, just shooting the shit, typing to myself, really, look at all these sexy minds i naively interpret to be so within the realm of the related videos set.

Thanks for being a good fan of my explanations. The only thing I'll allow myself to say in regard to my field of interest is that at least part of it has to do with good old pen-and-notebook "homework". Concerning the user who made that video, I should say again clearly that it wasn't ALL bad, technically. I wouldn't have made this video if he had not showed off, and largely inflated his knowledge in order to give credence with that premise to his nonsensical gossiping about evolution.

  • Somehow your videos always make me want to go back to university to pick up my studies I abandoned as soon as I would have to start learning and this time I would.

Thank you so much for the constant inspiration and lessons :)

  • bwhahrhr

Thanks, I think you're one of my most faithful viewers. I've had friends who picked up university again later in life. Never say never!

But there are also a lot of layman writings of real scientists that can teach a lot, and your spare time might be all you need if you're really committed. Check out on

philhellenes's channel (he just commented here too). My understanding is that he didn't have a specialized education in Science, and yet he knows a lot of stuff and enjoys it.

  • I liked some of his a lot videos but for my enjoyment he was too condescending and hostile in some videos - one of the things I value a lot about your videos!

  • Good work. Bozo expose-o.

  • Schrodcat i am a huge fan of your explanations, i was just wondering what your field of work is and how you got to know what you know? /shrug just curious, i'm going to check your channel to see if i can find the answer now, which is contrary to what i should be doing
