but Dye's break alot need constant care

im speaking from personal experience i had a dm6 dm7 and dm8 neverrr will everr get another dye gun

Dye/Proto guns dont break down alot. Ive had my Dm6 and Pmr 09 for almost 1year now and only had to rebuild the bolt orings one time.

If you cant lube a couple of orings and maintain a bolt and do basic maintanence, then you shouldnt even be playing paintball............

i have a friend with the Dm10 and that has broken on him atleast 5 times in the past 4 months

some problems were just caused by a single O-ring on the bolt braking

I have a DM8 with the new Mikko Huttunen Yakuza Series USB Ultralite Board with Dye Rotor and this marker is the best marker I have ever owned very accurate and very efficient. Well I can say this there is a guy in my town that has a EGO9 and would trade me for my DM8 so that should tell you something DM8 are awesome !!!

depends really... what do you value in a gun? efficiency, sound footprint, reliability or maintainability? In my honest opinion if you were looking for a balanced marker that excels in every subjective and objective category listed above you will not be disappointed with a DM9, though all of those markers are stunning performance, most would chalk it up to preference at this marker tier

the feel, the effeciency as compared to other spool valves, the engineering and ergonomical design of the luxe, the ease of maintainance, and the CUSTOMER SERVICE for the the luxe is far superior. if your solonoid breaks down thats a $150 fix for an ego9 or dm9 out of your pocket, DLX will just send you parts no question asked i had them send me an entire bolt assembly just because the tip of my bolt had wear on it. in short....LUXE

take the noid of the gun body, and re align the weird looking gasket that seals the space between the noid and gun body. my geo had that problem, it was leaking because the gasket moved a little and was no aligned correctly
