Should I be having frame rate issues while playing Dragon Quest VIII? Because I am, but I think my specs surpass the emulators' needs by a far margin. Keep in mind, while I am having frame rate issues I am also streaming with XSplit. Even then... I shouldn't have problems. I apologize, but I must continue my post in another comment.
@ClassicGamingInc Do you get FPS issues without using XSplit? Your PC should handle it fine (although I don't have this game myself). From what I read it's one of the most GPU intensive games, so maybe you could try decreasing the internal resolution a bit. If you only get slowdowns while using XSplit, it's apparently not PCSX2s fault :P
@PCSX2team Well, I tested the game without and with XSplit and I am getting the same FPS. Other games that give me issues with the same settings are FF12, Suikoden 5, and even strangely, FF10. I tried playing God of War just the other day and I couldn't do it. I had like 47-55, very few 59 and 60 FPS throughout the way. If you do have a good idea of what I may be facing, what recommendations would you give me?
@ClassicGamingInc My only guess is that some kind of power saving feature is throttling your CPU because PCSX2 only causes load on 2-3 cores / 6. Try disabling power saving features AMD has like cool n quiet and the sort from your motherboard's bios and set the windows power plan to performance.
@PCSX2team Alright. I will try this and get back with you on how performance is. By the way, I went ahead and changed the NTSC FPS to 61 instead of 59.94. Hopefully this will help as well.
where can download this game?

@ClassicGamingInc No don't do that, your speed will not change and there is a high chance it will break games.
