This is crazy, I played so many games lately but Shenmue I & II are still in my mind. I can't forget the Story , The characters , Landscapes , Goodies...all those little things who made that Dreamcast game UNIQUE. The day I hear this song and soon after rolls the trailer for shenmue 3...........I remember when i saw the preview article on some video game magazine and I said Im gonna buy this game and the feeling I got for just watching the trailer.....that christmas morning seeing Lan-Di killing Ryo's father...paying like 100 bucks to get the european version of shenmue 2....and then buying an xbox and buying shenmue 2 again.....oh when will Ryo leave that cave.

gaming was at its peak with the dreamcast and maybe a little extent to the ps2/gamecube/xbox generation but thats it. I have never felt the same about gaming. first time playing a dreamcast was an unforgettable moment which I remeber to this day. Playing a wii or ps3 first time was like meh... So not the same passion and soul anymore.

Shenmue might be the only reason I whined to my dad asked him to get me a Dreamcast after I saw the preview on TV...dang it's like 10 years ago already! I'm 19 this year (and a girl) and I swear to god Shenmue is the best thing I've ever played...and the only game my parents never complained on since there are so many 'unnecessary violent' games these days, at least that's what they said. Plus I appreciate my parents more since they love the game's storyline than any others...Love ya DAD!

Shenmue 3 speculation is reaching levels not seen for many years. Specific avatar items such as Ryo Hazuki 's or the inclusion of Ryo in the sega all star racing game they are using this to test the waters as regards intrest so we must at least buy the jacket to show intent. The atmosphere in this game was just amazing. It was really an extraordinary experiance. Few games have come close to that feeling just like Shadow Of The Colossus for example. Thos intense human experiances are just basic and simple but the inner conflict goes so deep. This is not so common in videogames. I miss that.

As far as I know they did finish this game, but hurriedly. On the last disk Ryo ran up a mountain jumping over logs n shit. However I'm sure this was a slipshod way of reaching a finale to the story. Such a shame that it wasn't given the time/attention/budget n fan-base it required to bring it to it's true conclusion. Long live Ryo Sakazaki!!!
