  • That is a beautiful car. I remember when I was a kid a guy in my small home town having one just like yours. The stripe reflection in the light was so cool. I've always wanted one since I've seen it. Almost 27 years ago I got the Torino I have now. It still needs work to look as good as yours but it still turns heads and people come up to me and tell me how much they like it. Mine has a 351C stroked to 380, punched 30 over and balanced with a C4 tranny with a shift kit and .350 posi gears.

  • Thanks for the nice comments. The Torino was available with either an Automatic, 3 or a 4-speed manual. Optional for the 4-speed and the automatic was a console. My car is a C6 Automatic with bucket seats and console.

  • BEAUTIFUL Torino!! Did they come with a manual trans or only auto?

  • @whiteribbonman1 Both,

  • The laser stripes are for a 1971 Torino GT. They are slightly different, about a foot longer and wider. I have a 1970 exactly like this car.

  • oh that's shuts a beatiful car

  • These are odd Laser stripes to me. My 70 GT (in family since new) had way different stripes, though all same color scheme. Maybe because mine was a small block cleveland/4-barrell and this is a big block...???

  • Where and when is this car event held? I'd like to attend.

  • Jerry, u r 1 lucky guy!

  • Great interview and great car! Love those 1970-71 orino GT's!

  • My mom's 1st car! Just lovely!
