Bullpups tend to have shit triggers because there is a loss in sensitivity when you add hardware between your finger and the original trigger group. I would not call this a sniper rifle at all. I like the saiga 12 bullpups because accurate longe range shooting is not the goal with a CQC shotgun but when your talking .308 then you want that feel of the trigger on the meaty portion of your pointer finger. I like the look of this but it looks more look it could fill a scout rifle role.
why the hell is this not under evalv by the army hell they could fix it a little bit and make it comabt capable (more durable more reliable in the feild) this think could replace the m16 m4 and the 7.62 round grands user range and firepower in comapct capable package
@kullas924 It wouldn't be practical to arm everyone with this rifle. The M4 and M16 work fine because currently we(America) are fighting in an urban environment. So the 5.56 NATO with its lower recoil work just fine and have plenty of stopping power to drop a guy at 100-200m. Also the lower accuracy as the standard riflemans firearm allows for quicker follow up shots. But I must say that rifle is beautiful and may be capable of replacing some sniper rifles.
@garuda2shamrock ... Correct, the chassis has a selector switch cut-out. Swap out the blast shield/cheek rest cover and you can run a real deal, select fire USGI M14 in the chassis.
I had a standard weight 18.0" barreled action in the Rogue stock when the video was filmed... I now have an 18.0" medium heavy barreled action installed in the stock. More better ;-)
There is a Complete Bullpup Conversion Kit available on GunBroker right now...
