I was able to follow up to 12:00 because when i set the type to hole, it says "Cannot change this constraint to hole because it already contains other constraints." can you help me with this?

Your repoussè does not work because you haven't activate the OpenGL,press CTRL/CMD + K -> Perfomance now activate your OpenGL,if you can't activate that,try to update your video drivers,if it doesn't work,is because you got a bad pc.

@sillyYDNIC I think you can have a picture in the background, but you'd have to set the blend mode on the text to screen... Haven't tested it yet xD

@cainedkaty i believe it's because your grapichs card doesn't support OpenGL. Also, it might be because you haven't activated it, try pressing CTRL+k and see if you can enable it that way:)

@terrence101494 go to edit; preferences; 3D; see if its enabled or go to the preformance tab and see if your graphic card supports it. make sure "enable openGL Drawing" is checked (:

I got the same error you got at 10:09 added with another one after i clicked yes that said

[Your 3D scene now exceeds the limits of light and/or textures for the video card's hardware-accelerated 3D rendering. As long as the limits are exceeded, 3D rendering will be done in software only, and some features ( e.g. Repousse) will be disabled.]

so what are the requirements needed to actually complete this task and how do i check my version of video card.

This is, by far, THE BEST tutorial on creating water text that I have found. Finally, one that actually looks like water! I love how you showed the tools in the Repousse and 3D panels. I would have never known what the "Pan the 3D constraint" tool did. Thanks for an excellent tutorial!

Also, for those who aren't sure of what version of PS you have...click on Help, About Photoshop, and it will tell you if you have Extended or not. I have CS5 Extended and it worked flawlessly :)

About your puppet-warp problem, try the following:

1. In Photoshop, hit 'Ctrl + K' on your keyboard to open up the preferences window. 2. Now, go to your Performance tab.

3. Next, slide the slider a bit to the right, but not too much.

4. Finnally, select every scratch disk below and restart Photoshop.

It should work now :)

if you diddnt know Brandon, the reason that that 3d failure message came up is because your video card does not have nvidia 'cuda' technology, it dosnt matter, although by having it it allows the video card to process the information rather than the software, allowing it to be faster and ore fluent.

@ChChCheckItsClan as to your puppet warp colour not highliting next time you load up photoshop be very quick as soon as you click the PS icon pres ctrl+shft+alt before the program loads you should get a message asking to delete saved settings warning come up click yes

this is a safe mode adobe built in for when photoshop starts playing it will reset all tools back to default
