lately seeing the success of Tarak Mehta..many new serials have sprung up..like "papad pol".."khakrawala".."maniben".­.etc..non have succeeded as this one.The producers miss the point why "Tarak mehta ka ulta chasma" is so popular and others are not.The point according to me is realistic script,realistic acting,logical flow..it sometimes makes me feel as if I live in Gokuldham society and each of the characters dont do any other serial which makes them exclusive.

@Sara3183 i am a hindu, and i understand your view, but u should understand the problem, in this serial the director uses lots of episodes with several hindu festivals and pujas, for that they need to show several hindu goddes for that, and in islam this is strictly prohibited, it can create unneccesary problems, so they are playing safe.I dnt think there is any religious hatred in it, in one recent eppisode they showed irfan pathan...
