the company lack cleanliness?? not only do they have sick moves but what they lack in formations (which is very little, watch body rock 09), they more than make up for with the stories and the meaning they incorporate into their sets. choreo cookies are sick, though the company dominate with the sets they create

but really, it all depends on your determination to become a better dancer. you gotta work for it

start small and just create. some people take classes, some just create on their own. i agree with all the suggestions, but start small. watch some other dances on youtube, see if they can help with some basics and just brach off there. you can create any way you want, or get help by taking a hip hop class. well, you just don't need hip hop, but there's other things like jazz, ballet, and contemporary. but yeah... start small, and let your creation expand as u keep going with it.

there are plenty of dancers who start around your age who become great dancers. Find your style and learn and practice as much as you can (Pay your dues). Most choreographers/dancers don't get their big break until their into their twenties and some as late as their early thirties. Of course if you get good enough, people will notice, especially the younger you are.

shaun evaristo of the company apparently put up a video a while back about how they wouldn't audition for ABDC. i haven't watched this video yet, but many have validated that he has said it. ABDC looks for a specific style. not just choreo, but the kinda stuff you mentioned that would bring in many laymen. but outside of that, it doesn't matter. if you can flip, that's good. but can you dance? that's the important question. note that none of the top 3 in body rock have ever done any such stunts.

the thing that i've always respected about this set is that through the whole thing they never get away from the theme of being in a dance club. you might not think thats impressive, but to keep a universal theme through an entire show is simply outstanding showmanship.
