I played this mission yesterday at 0606 hrs. on December 31, 2010. Everyone was flying the title F-14. I swear i was crying when I finished, because Ace Combat 5 has been laid to rest. This is the one mission i will play at 0606 every year, to honor the souls of Razgriz.

it's called "15 years ago" from Ace Combat 5: The Unsnug War, i suggest u buy the OST on the net, i know it's a little expensive (30-45 dolars) but i get the 4 cd's OST and you are getting the pride that you are doing the right thing ^^

He's in afterburner. It's not impossible to do it in a high performance jet fighter. The speed of sound, after all, is only about 700 MPH. So Mach 2 (which most modern fighters can easily reach) would be 1400 MPH. 2000 is only another 600. Not very hard.

Additionally, considering these are military pilots flying and the game was made in Japan, the speed might be resistered in kilometers per hour. As a klick is smaller than a mile, 2000 isn't impossibly fast.

Most definitely. Since this one came out, the later games were all not a epic. Even the most recent part 6 on the 360 with those graphics couldn't compare to this.
