Yes you can change the color with a camara distorning the resolution, you can do the same with the rainbown lent of the NintendoDSi Camera (only photo)

And Nintendo sold a Nintendo DS lite green with Mario Party DS

I bought a Ds lite instead of a dsi. i think ds lite is mutch better than the dsi. cuz i really dont need the camera stuff. and the bigger screen :P
