  • :32 Graeme's take on the experience and imagination that music inspires so as the listener to listen to a song or set of songs, albums 50 or 100 times as opposed to MOVIES where the viewer tires after two, three times is exactly why music is more human, significant.

I've always taken movies with a grain of salt, they bore me, new, sometimes old movies, fun for a moment but it doesn't feed the soul and work on your imagination like music does.

I'll take musicians over actors any day!

  • @wendileona In other words - I still love what Graeme says is basically that music lets you the listener create the story with your imagination and experience it at a more personal, spiritual, intellectually stimulating level. I think that music releases chemicals in the brain that make you feel great.

...On the other hand, movies, even music videos all the advanced imagery and CGI especially in movies today, don't allow YOU to fill in the parts or add to or really just overall doesn't allow you to imagine it all. Its done for you. You're getting a visual stimulation externally rather than YOU creating that stimulation internally which is key in why music is just more satisfying.

There, I had to get that out! Great interview! One of the best of the Moodies I've seen! Thank you!

  • It seems to me that they still love it - it's from their heart as Justin says. They have such a repertoire of songs - which is what makes them in a league of their own.

They are lucky to be still at it! Saw them this summer - and they were having a great time! Far from the nursing home!

  • imagine to be cursed with a catchy tune that you have to play for the rest of your life right through to the nursing home -- I have that curse too

  • getting old yes STILL the BEST show you could hear for sure

  • I think it was on the other video, but I love that airplane story. It is my dream to see the Moody Blues play the annual Aruba Music Festival someday

  • Thanks for posting these videos. I have loved the Moody Blues for a long time and I love them even more now. I agree that Ray is missed very much, but I am so thankful the others are still playing. We still love you all and you're all still hot!

  • Thanks for putting this on !! very cool !

  • lovely and informative indeed
