Dvorak'a hayranım, tüm eserleri güzeldir. Humoresque öğrenim yıllarından itibaren her kemancının çalmak istediği bir parçadır. Dubl kort'lar temiz çalınabildiği takdirde çok etkileyicidir. Kreisler ço güzel yorumlamış. H. A.
@2ndviolinist I have no occasion to use the online OED as I have quite a few dictionaries of my own., including OED micrographically printed (20V) ., 1933 13 volumes which I would regard as more important in stature by virtue of the culmination of over 50 years in compilation , by team of eminent lexiographers headed by the great James H Murray . I have also the Century Dictionary - America,s answer to the OED !!!!
@OEDBrowser Impressive! You must love words. Just finishing Moby Dick which I somehow missed when younger. Not too challenging in it's vocabulary but I do have to look up a word now and again. It's depressing how limited most young (and not so young) people's vocabulary and interest in words is. My 30-year-old friend was clueless this evening when I used draconian in a sentence. Of course being an intellectual these days is unforgivable almost on the level of not being a Heifetz fan.
his style is just perfect for this piece.

@2ndviolinist Nonpareil !! The best version I have heard !! Kreisler has an obvious affinity for this piece - most touching !!

@OEDBrowser By my favorite violinist, playing Beethoven or Danny Boy. I think he liked Dvorak and certainly liked his music.

@OEDBrowser BTW do you browse the OED online or from the 20 volume set?
