thank you apache brothers we the dine people will not forget the sun and the twins we will follow mosterslayer and we will continue the eradication of evil spirits.
These must be show crowns then. Because this sure isnt ceremony. . Even though Joe has a good voice.. that Shawump song is not a bird song nor is it Apache.. it comes from the Alaskan tribes and they sing it as they paddle in their canoes.. each time the word Shawump is said is a stroke of the paddle as was told to me by the Alaskan people. Joe is a crowd pleaser and a good singer and motivator.but maybe needs to research a little more culturally?
Im a Apache!!! and most of my family lives in Roswell New Mexico, i have stayed close to traditions, but i was wondering if you knew the language, or if you know anyone that can speak it, i really wanna learn the language! Please help me!
I'm a zapotec indian from mexico i was born in California , this video reminds me a lot of the dances and traditions I have in my home land the Zapotec nation.
Love the dancers!! They really have their own "character", very entertaining. Love the dancer with the 3 fork crown, the one in the back, he's got some talent! :) Thanks for sharing.
I totally agree with n8tive14dude's comment. Its wierd how he only performs on the navajo reservation and gettin them all rowled up. He shud know better forreal..Any Apache medicine man will tell him dat. if he truly believed in the sacredness of his tradition..he would have more respect for the Gaan and its purpose..So thumbs down to all his performances..
