You know the ones that mean about as much as "getting a toy in your happy meal" I'm sorry, but if you have "earned" your purple belt from nothing but private lessons with very little live rolling involved. Then your level is inflated. Which is a disturbing trend within the BJJ community. In their desperation to be recognised, they hand out belts to high profile people left, right and centre. Paul would get eaten alive at a tourny I bet.
