@OriginalTechManager Did you by any chance plug in the tablet without installing the drivers first? If you did do that then Windows probably installed the default touch drivers which are not for the Tablet, you need to install the drivers on the CD first before you plug it into the machine.

@JayBee272 It all depends on your style of drawing... If you draw "from the elbow" get the medium or larger, if you draw "from the wrist" get the small one (although medium might work for you, large and up is overkill). I suggest trying it out in the store first...

I'm an aspiring artist. I've seen many art pieces drawn on 'tablets'. I'm wondering, is it actually worth the $200~ for something that is [from what I've seen] essentialy a giant mouse pad? I would imagine it's a little difficut to draw if you don't have the pen to the actual picture. Or am I just looking in the wrong place?

@TheHEARTSofLIGHT It's just like drawing traditionally, except the pen isn't over the drawing. You get used to it but, however, if you don't like that kind of stuffs anyways there are tablets that show what's on your computer screen on the tablet (like a Wacom Cintiq).

I have the pen. It's absolutely amazing. I don't draw AT ALL but it's just so natural to work with and so easy. I didn't get the pen & touch because then people would annoy the crap out of by touching my pad all the time. If you use it at home and have the 20 bucks left, I guess the pen & touch works amazing. But so does the "Regular" touch!

If you're thinking about getting one just do it. It's amazingly fun and easy. Does more than I expected. Also looks super cool with any desktop / laptop!

i bought this and had if for about 3 weeks...it just now started acting up. it will write, and right click even while im ONLY hovering. i heard that if u tap the pen around abit itll be fine, it doesnt work. i tweaked settings, doesnt fix it. i searched for this problem and found others have this issue too. (it's an amazing music game, you should check it out), my first nib almost wore off because of this game. the tablet is bigger than i predicted, wich is a good thing, and the pressure level detection is very precise.

I find it really difficault to use :-( i am so much better to draw with a pencil and a paper. I just got my Bamboo today, (you can see my video with the car) its my first try with the bamboo. I think its because there is no screen to view at, you have to look at the computer screen.
