While there are individuals who do go to feel good about themselves or only to look better, this does not describe every individual that serves. I can attest that this amazing woman did not go to offer pity (which is rarely wanted), instead she went to work besides, live among and share with people in their sorrows and joys. Please do not begrudge her because of others' actions.

As you said in your comment, this is your 'trip' to Swaziland! I was born in Swaziland and all visitors come and do is pity the people hand out a few sweets, smoke very cheap weed, take some pics and move on! The problem with Swaziland is the culture (and NOT 'God' as some posted). If you didn't notice, the king has erm, How many wives, or you guys only thought he had only 1?If the Swazi polygamy goes, so does the sex culture which in turn breeds AIDS! I am infuriated by, read my next post too!

I've just brought some package fruit jelly from Swaziland. I feel guilty that I live on the other side of the world, yet I'm eating their food. Economics and trade is great, but I would prefer they had a stomach full of my food, rather than a businessman getting rich by my purchase.
