The problem is that too many people think about the man behind the politics and not the politics themselves. People fail to have a glimpse understanding of what the stimulus bill is about. It is not a quick fix. If it passes than there are going to be hard economic times ahead. Things will get much worse before they get better. The idea of this stimulus package is to work on infrastructure so that in the long run the economy improves. If it works or not depends on government corruption.

The problem is spending more than you have, and borrowing more than you can pay back. This was done by companies, banks, government, and the people. The government plans to inject more money (that they don't have) to keep the economy from crashing to the ground, and get the people to keep spending so that it will keep everything afloat.
