Honestly, who cares about the camera. im pretty sure whoever gets this phone (ME) will not be using the camera, maybe use the group texting, live wallpapers, oovoo, front facing camera, cloud texting, aim, e-mail, facebook, twiitter, myspace, and android market instead :)

SOOO true. Ive only had 2 phones. Before this myTouch slide I had the side kick LX and I was ALLLLWAYS on AIM. It was fun and fast and I preferred it over anything. Now on my myTouch I tried being on AIM but it didnt seem fast or useful. Man I was a fast ninja with my siedekick. Wonder if it will bring back that experience.

The iphone sucks when it comes to txting. you will spend half the time correcting your mistakes. If you are one who txts all day long then get the sidekick. Also I live in a basement and I have no reception with my Iphone but now with the sidekick I will finally get reception. Iphone 4 is awesome for media stuff. watching videos taking videos and pics etc.

I was going to get this until it had a 3 megapixel camera which is ignorant to me on Samsung's part.

For this to be such a high mid-ranged device(i say high because it is in the same category as Motorola Cliq 2 but has 4g and FFC) why would you give it features that a low end device like the Optimus T has.

Just very disappointed in a device i was initially excited for.

AIM for android is a hit or miss which is a bad thing for sidekick users. Unless gtalk becomes popular real quickly like how quickly bbm got popular gtalk some sidekick users that are used to aim may be puzzled. But i hope gtalk becomes popular its quiet good.

@ubuntu4fun Technically speaking the sidekick 4g is better in every way of the nexus one besides the camera since the sidekick 4g only has 3mp camera with no flash. Unless that lens is in the same class as the iphone 4 lens the quality of those pics are good for social wise not professional wise. The hummingbird processor, keyboard, nice build(seen so far), features takes down the nexus one. One problem is that the dev society might not support it that much especially compared to the nexus one.
