The audience clearly enjoyed the performance. As a musician you are a performer and as a performer you require an audience, otherwise, you have no purpose. There's nothing wrong with any performance of any kind of music that the target audience enjoys. Musical snobbery has no place in critique. Get over yourselves. Eddie Daniels is virtuoso musician. I doubt any of you commenting are anything of the sort. Show some respect.

Also, this video is from 1992 and this orchestra is tuned to A=443.

i love Mozart's work.But when it comes to clarinet-geniuses like Eddie it's like putting a virtual sordine and forcing him to fantasy-shortening.Let him do his cadenza people!:D

As a fellow clarinetist, I disagree about the cadenza. I think it's totally appropriate. The cadenza is supposed to express the performer's personality, and Mr. Daniels does so while still remaining faithful to the composer and the classical style. I loved it.

his adagio cadenza is not actually worst, but timing sucks, and he takes sometimes too much air also.

dont forget that he is genius jazz player ;)

it ruins mozart.I am a great E Daniels fan...I think Break through is the best Clarinet album, ever!.....but dont DO this to Mozart.
