Yeah ah know ah remember skoda 1203 a wee van manufactured only in slovakia back then .....only what bugs me is the fact that skoda isn't czech any more coz

it's been sold to jerries for peanut waaahhaaahhaaaaahhaaaahhaaaa..­...yeah i had a few rover cars and all of them had their head gasket blown an utter rubish nice lookin car tons of fancy stuff but unreliable once ah went to isle of sky and back to glasgow and on the way back the bloody rover started boiling like a kettle ....

@tronics500 Skoda was established in 1859, so 80 years before any Slovaks. 1859 Slovakian ancestors were feeding sheep on grass. Otherside, Czech ancestors were establishing foundry plants and machine-works.

@MILANKO4747 Skoda is pure Czech ... Emil Skoda, Laurin, Klement - these were Czech ... and Janosik did not recovered, invent or construct car. Tatra is also Czech. I really dont know any Slovakian car. So please, refresh your brain!

Cool! I saw this some time ago on TV. He's right, the old cars must keep driving. A shame he puts Alfa engines in the car, the Skoda 1300 can be tuned up to 120BHP too. I personnely like the original cars the best.

He mentioned a straight cut box, is that going to be a skoda unit, or something else.

I want some more power in my estelle, but i am worried about the life span of the box.

I don't to use VW stuff either!
