If you were planning to pick up the subtlety of the stage separations higher up then Bingo!.. perfect exposure. maybe you could have got another stop out of it? though i expect you were wanting to preserve some of that pretty pink sunrise and cloud detail. I was wanting detail in the event on launch was all i meant to say. (clumsy language) (i realise the impossibility of getting both with current tech).

The launch was before sunrise, if you were paying attention. You had to have the aperture open in order to see anything that morning. Rude comment!

@pixelspring We wanted to capture the backdrop in this view. Checkout the tracking camera view in which the camera was set for the plume.
