there is an ancient pond in the old Japanese style garden with extreme silence

and suddenly a frog jumps in that pond and break the silence for a while

then, after that ,silence come back again.

So, Japanese strongly feel wabi-sabi from this Haiku which is the most famous

Though it is beautiful poetry, it is poetry of the English.

I think that should make it a sentence to feel "soft and beautiful".

Two "falls" is slightly unnecessary, too

I do it this way...

舞い散る雪 Snow dances

耳を澄ませば　When I listen carefully

微かな足音　A little footsteps

@iSoBoredMeIs It's actually morae not syllables, in japanese a syllable can have many morae. Tokyo (toukyou in roumaji) is 2 syllables but 5 morae. One mora is one vowel with an otopnal consonant before it, a consonant+y combination is an extra mora, a consonant at the end fo a syllable is an extra mora and a long vowel or diphthong is also an extra mora. So ryuu (dragon) has 3 mora.
