Um... Hillary wasn't the first female candidate for president... maybe you idiots should actually know what your talking about before you go screaming into a microphone.
Please do NOT confuse the main stream media with the DNC. If you care about the issues that Hillary fights for everyday, you have to support a Democratic President. If Hillary is VP or if Hillary is in the senate, a Democratic president will allow her to do her work. McCain is just 4 more years and we can't afford 4 more years. Let alone 4 years of someone with PTSD and who dumped his first wife after she was in a car accident that disfigured and disabled her.
You're right that McCain is sexist as well, but that doesn't let Obama and the DNC off the hook. The DNC has badmouthed Hillary and boosted Obama since primary season began. Dean and Pelosi are the two most notable examples, pushing Obama on us from the beginning, but there are others too. They are just the icing on the cake. Elections are about a lot more than toeing the party line.
Oh, and if sexism isn't enough for you, Obama was recently endorsed by Hamas. And what does it say about him if they support him? The kind of people who support someone are indicative of the kind of person the candidate is.
This a joke, right? So if YOU were running for President and Hamas "endorsed" you, would you personally be responsible for such nonsense? Honestly, from YOUR perspective, please answer this question. Also, since when does a terrorist organization from the Middle East have a say in American Politics? Answer: They have a say when people like you give merit to their ridiculous comments.
P.S. They just "un-endorsed" your Antichrist the other day. LOL.
Hamas would never endorse me. I am diametrically opposed to terrorism in all its forms, therefore they'd have no reason to endorse me. It's as simple as that. And of course they un-endorsed him, when they realized that their endorsement would actually hurt their favored candidate. Too late, as far as I'm concerned.
They un-endorsed him because he gave one of his typical fancy speeches on Israel. More of the same from Obama; get caught with a bad endorsement, give fancy prepared speech to "make nice." Now after some statements he made about Israel after said speech, many Jews are realizing his speech was just rhetoric to pander for their votes and to stifle the Hamas endorsement. The question one must ask oneself is why did Hamas endorse him in the first place?
Dean made his comments AFTER the media started reporting the sexism on March 31st. Before that he was silent on the subject. He is like Obama, who only tries to rectify problems once the media turns it into a problem politically form them. If the media never reported Reverend Wright, would Obama have made his defensive Race Speech? Would he ever have quit his church? Would Dean have made any statements about sexism if the media didn't bring it up? The answer is no on all counts.
Uhhhh, yeah cause most of these minute statements are in no ways at all sexist. The AO statement was in regards to her gun-toting comments...not sexist. You're likable enough...not sexist...this was a campaign you know.
Down comment - not even close
Sweetie - not said to Hillary, apologized to woman via voicemail.
Claws - KOS had a poll and about 60% said that it wasn't sexist. Good enough for me.
Can someone please post a clip or link of Obama reciting, writing, or expressing anything to do with sexism. Sure, in every contest, there has to be a loser. But, this sexism thing is getting way out of control. Regular supporters like you and I can be fanatic...that's politics these day...but to directly call Obama a sexist is highly disingenuous. Please post evidence of your claims.
I won't vote for Obama because I am Jewish and I don't trust his policies on Israel. Just this week he gave a speech to AIPAC and then flip-flopped on Jerusalem the next day. He did the same when Carter was meeting with Hamas - first said Carter was a US Citizen and free to do what he wanted - then flip flopped 2 days later. Most of the Jewish people in my community feel the same. Many think NJ will be in play.
Thank you Hillary! We're with you, and will reluctantly do our part for Barack Obama... even if the media and others who supported him were transparently sexist.
It's not a matter of rewarding the DNC, I think. It's a matter of staying loyal to Hillary and the issues she believes in.
Now that nomination process is over, there is much more that the DNC can and should do to address issues of sexism... but if you think that you're going to change things without being involved, or that the Republicans will respect you, good luck with that.
Becoming a Republican, either in party or with your vote, is a betrayal of all Hillary Clinton stands for.
I am going to stay loyal to Hillary and the issues she believes in, and I will do it by NOT voting for Obama, the sexist bully who doesn't care about anything but gaining power for himself.
I registered as independent because I am angered at the way the DNC has handled this. To those that do not believe it and say that sexism does not exist is inexcusable. I have witnessed people I know say that "white bitch" is accurate and I cannot stand by it any longer. Hillary all THE WAY!
I was going to change my party affiliation to "Independent" but decided against it. Now I'm going to go into the voting booth in November as a registered Democrat and vote GOP. In my view, that will be a bigger blow to the gut(s) of the party elite. They will KNOW that life-long Dems resented the way they treated Hillary and Bill Clinton and disregarded us. After the election, I will change my affiliation. I just want them to see the stats at how MANY Dems voted against their Golden Boy.
I am disgusted by the DNC and I will NOT support Obama and the sexism he stands for. I will vote for John McCain come November. Hillary Clinton has been disrespected and there will be hell to pay. Her supporters will be the numbers needed to hand the Presidency to the Republicans as payback to the DNC, Howard Dean, Donna Brazile, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Rev. Wright and 'Father' Pfleger. "Affirmative action" has no place in elections.
This is neither ours nor Hillary's party anymore. I will not take what they dish out because republican is my only other choice. Don't threaten me with loss of Roe vs. Wade nor with Supreme Court stacking arguments. I will not back down. No not I! It's Hillary or Mc Cain but not OBAMA! I will not have my President chosen by the media nor by the DNC. My president will be democratically chosen by the people for better or worse but Give me liberty or give me death, I'll trade 4 years for liberty.
I was there. The voices you heard screaming included mine. It's Hillary or Mc Cain but NOBAMA!
I will not have my President be chosen by the media nor by the DNC. My president will be democratically chosen by the people for better or worse. Right after this gal spoke - the died in the wool Democrats grabbed the mic and immediately tried to calm us down and told us we have to unite for the sake of the party.
To hell with the party that threw us to the wolves. This gal had it right NOBAMA!

True, but she was the first one who had a realistic chance of winning. She was the first who had the support of more than 50% of a major party.

I can give you plenty of examples:
"sweetie" in a professional setting;
"who are you HIllary, Annie Oakley"
"you're likeable enough"
"claws come out"
"sometimes she get down"
Need more?
