  • So sad for this building to go away, and if they built a new building, I'm Assuming Otis Series 5.

  • Yes, this was a unique medical building with the triangular columns in the 1st floor garage (typical 1970's design), but if the new building went with Otis, maybe they could use Epco WA Series HaloLine fixtures with black button/white halo, since those are the closest design to Otis Lexan. However, since the property firm uses ThyssenKrupp, I bet it will be ThyssenKrupp. The new elevators will be 3500 lbs, 4 floors, 150 FPM hydraulic, and it will be the new version (Signa4).

  • Thanks, and if well maintained, it will last a very long time. Also, it sure is a nice elevator.

  • Very old and nice.

  • Yes, those black/clear buttons are very cool looking, and the motor sounds very interesting.

  • Nice elevator exept from the noises!, I love the moor sound and the black call button fixtures look like the Elite ones and coverd in black

  • Yes, it was.

  • The elevator could have been in up-peak mode.

  • So do I.

  • I like the celling fixture.

  • Actually, the jamb mounted fixture was the call button, and the other switch was the lobby switch, most likely security or hoistway access.

  • How come there were 2 call buttons on the 1st floor?
