seems to be the best existing interpretation of this important piece. We can hear it often too strict in tempo and too heavy. Here everything has sense.A long time I did not find the sense in these pieces as I never heard a real good interpretation.Thanks for sharing this.

I wonder how similar to his mentor Lieszt/s musical interpretation, teaching and feeling is Sauer in this perfomance of Carnaval. I really appreciate your uploads of these little time capsules to a bygone musical era and sensibility.
