The characteristics of Shotokan style kata was changed to Shito's, the team kata should be disqualified. Obviously it isn't occur by political reasons. This is not Gojushiho Dai for sure and the individual Unsu by Nguen was a misandestood too.

@itosu123 are you crazy? this is shotokan....the kata is done the same way in the jka and any of its derivatives. the same goes for her unsu. it's more traditional than valdesi and 90% of the shotokan practicioners in the wkf.

@madgecic - I see you don't know shotokan deeply. The execution of mae keage, and all "sword and spear" (ippon nukite, shuto, shotei, seiryuto, etc) techniques are different, they're doing Shito's. The timing is also different from jka if ya like to talk about it. The concepts of judgemet are insufficient to choose what is or not correct, the reason for the excluding of abandoning some fundamental points of traditional kata [like atifua].

@itosu123 that is shotokan my friend. you are clearly mixed up. i'm not going to go into the details because it isn't necessary. and yes that is the jka timing of the kata. by the way, i never criticized valdesi, i'm merely stating that the vietnamese are performing more traditional looking kata than he does.

I wonder how can She perform both Shitoryu and Shotokan katas in WKF top level? Here team kata in Shotokan style and individual Shitoryu... Is she that good or are the judges that dumb who cannot distinguish style-pure techniques?
