@guitaristWILLMillard put the arm in and press it down so the bridge lifts up. If you look underneath the vibrato at the back you should see a small allan key grub screw. Tighten this up to fix our vibrato into place.
@vintageshred71 you are the only person who has provided any instructions on how to fit the trem arm!!! Thank you, it was driving me mad! Even the shop didn't know! Star!
@J8united my suggestion is try both - there are good points to them all, and it really would be subjective. If you want it to look like a 'real' St£@t then go for the V6 series, but this AV6P Advance model has the advantage of the P90 pickups for more tonal options.
@Hemorraghe Hi and thanks for watching. It is a very comfortable neck, but it depends what you meant by 'metal' - the W90 pickups on this guitar are great for most styles of rock, pop and blues, but you might be better with the AV6 model with the humbucker (AV6HVW or AV6CAR) if you want to play a lot of high-gain metal. Alternatively, check out the Geoff Whitehorn Signature model.
Hi -actually this is the AV6PLB (laguna blue) model - it's the lights that are making it look white sorry! We do a white with a black scratchplate - AV6HVW - but this has two single coils and a humbucker. You should be able to retro fit the W90 pickups to it though, if you so wished.
i have looked on the Vintage Official Site and i think i'm going to take the av6 in candy apple red with the humbucker and the 2 singleciols. i think it has the roll control, too. could you maybe make a video to this one with the humbucker and the singlecoils, too
i do love these vintage guitars. i want one of these and a vp6. i see no demo for the vp6 or the av1 with the p90's though! can we have one? also why did wilkinson go with ceramic magnets? what difference is there really over say alnico 5? will vintage do an alnico 5 stacked humbucker? just curious. thanks. great playing by the way!
Hi plouuvfra, and thanks for your comments. Just a quesion of getting time to do all the models I'm afraid - check out the V100GT vid to hear the P90 pickups. In regards to the stacked humbucker, there are no plans I'm aware of to introduce an alnico V model.
Hi DeathMetalDawg, sorry for late reply. The HSS version has an RRP in the UK of £299, which works out at about 375 euros. I guess you will find it a lot cheaper than this if you shop around.
hmmmmm to get one and throw some Texas Specials in it????????????

I spent 1200 on an Ibanez. Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful instrument(7 string too), but the prices are mad.

I have this guitar and its totally radical however my vibrato doesn't lock into the bridge. Do you have to do something to make it lock into place?
