yes! like a multileveled labyrinth the string of choas, our attachment silver cord,is attached to the cosmos...as you turn/twist the axis/axle of earth, you shut down the
connection to god. then we stay here.. is this why dead men (zombies/the mark of the b-east) dont wear pleiades. thats my guess in a nutcase...shell...
Very fine job and excellent craft, what kind of form did you use. I have been using plastic slinkys covered with tape. :) Keep up the great work Aloha
@jackscholze I made the toroid myself - a lengthy process of using a former on a pivot to make half a torus using clay, then casting it with plaster then making two pieces with slipclay and joining them, firing them. I have been watching your films - great work. Great recent powell configuration results. I am working on a similar winding atm.
Around the circumference (x axis) mark every 10 degrees; draw 36 lines around the tube in line with the torus hole centre. Around the circumference of the tube (the y axis) divide into 18 equal lines - use string to measure the circumference of tube, mark string with 18 points - wrap string around and mark out y axis points on each 90 degrees of x axis. fill in all the y axis lines. draw diagonals across all grid. you now have diagonal grid. Use this to copy in number map. GL!upload ur results!
i think thats exactly what im looking for...to enable me to lay the wires "exactly" where they should go.as opposed to the so called "standard" rodin coil which a lot of people have ( including myself)...where the wires dont wrap around tight to the toroid skin..but rather they go in straight lines incorrectly.
I aggree. But the only problem is this: because of the angles of the lines, the wire will not stay on those lines if you are just winding it around the form. It slips off. I am currently trying to work out how best to overcome this. Using double sided sticky tape doesn't work. gluing the wire down as you go seems way too laborious. If you have any ideas let me know. I have been carving grooves in a plaster form and am coiling this right now...... again, good luck!
How is the torus mapped?

if you watch that video 119 times in a row, you will begin to see the holes in space, the doorways that connect to the ambient watchers.

nice work, what technique did you use to map the pattern onto the 3-D toroid?

@2tombarnett yes i agree, the groove way seems to be the only way, ive had experience trying to use double sided tape...messy & infuriating.
how did you cast your plaster toroid?
