Judging by where she stabbed him, that looks like it hit some pretty important organs that love to bleed when you stab a hole in them..  He wouldn't take almost 8 minutes to go into shock from blood loss and lose consciousness. That being said, her aim sucks. She should have aimed under the sternum at an upward angle, so she could get his heart and drop him almost instantly.
