@Palakanis You obviously aren't ready for high horsepower. We have several customers with 500+ whp, two of whom have videos of low-12s in the quarter-mile.

If you think cold air intake is fine, you must drive in the slow lane. You've obviously never been in a Honda Civic Si with a real turbo kit in it.

@xxnissansilviaxx From a roll, no but at the drag strip, the stock tranny can handle only so much abuse. The only long-term solution that's out there at the moment is PPG gears, which are expensive.

@xxnissansilviaxx One of our customers, ajpturbopittsburgh, has been driving his stock motor and stock tranny at the track with times of 12.55 and 12.39. He's got around 500 whp or so.

However, there is a big difference between daily driving and drag strip. If you race from a roll, there is a lot less stress than the beating you put on the tranny when you're at the drag strip.

Engine life really depends on your maintenance and your driving habits.

Change your oil and spark plugs regularly and your motor will live long and prosper.

Well, unfortunately you need a nudge to buy a Civic Si - while the engines are both K-series, the layout is entirely different. Our kit will not fit.

Yes, replacing an HKS blow off valve with a TiAL in an existing setup is not the best way to go.

The replacement would have to be done during the production phase when the intercooler pipe is being welded.
