u need to speed up the tempo and put a bit of funk in those drums ay! nice setup tho. maybe try fukn with some samples to get a idea of what real music sounds like
@disciple21781 He realy needs an other keyboard.. He plays to good for this M-Audio shit.. + if you see he's studio, the only thing that sould be changed is the keyboard !
@Trippermanofficial the m-audio midi keyboard/controller is actually really good, i one myself and works perfect, also I've seen it in many big name producers studio's. its a great piece of gear for a great price
I use those just to get a reference sound. I mix with Genelecs, those small ones and I have a subwoofer for the low frequences. Bass is hard to mix if you are not hearing it right or at all, so it's always good to have a sub.
depends, you just need to know how you're monitors lay compared to systems with propper subs. Good way to reference is to bring ur system to a club or somewhere u can hoock up to a good system and check :) then you'll know how much to boost or cut. But mixing in headphones is the best choice, and then swap between it and monitors to get different perspective of the sound.
all monitors are good !you just have to learn how to mix with them! the best mix i've ever see was with yamaha ns10..its all about the guy who uses the PA..
True! But if you take the worlds best mixingdude and pring him infront of a new speakers that he hasn't used before, he can't do shit with them. You need to know how your speakers sound and the best way to learn that is to listen your favourite music with them. It takes a while. Thats why it's not recommened to change your monitoring system really often. So it's not about mixing skills, it's about knowing your monitors.
I'm interested in the Genelec 8020 speakers, are those good as main speakers? I'm looking for small speakers with the ability to play 24bit 96kHz. I'm not sure about what to buy, M-audio BX5a, KRK RP5 og Genelecs 8020? My room is pretty small, and the acoustics are not that bad. Peace!
Thanx man.. Im using JBL4328p's which are very good, but am deciding on smaller second pair to spice up the sonic quality.. It's either these or a pair of Adam monitors
just another guy having allot of stuff and doesnt know how to work whit it i only use a keybaord and sound much better then this dude no offense but i dont know how long you are in beatmaking but i think this is your first or second year in it
I'v made beats about nine years so that dagger went a little off. And another thing.. I checked your video and first of all you used maybe 5 tracks to make a beat. I'm I right? and that beat of yours sounded way too thin. I don't see why you are boasting with your sound when it is like that. Buy your own music equipments so you don't have to write these kind of jealous comments any more. But thanks anyway.
So, i'm considering buying the fantom xr, but i would like to know how capable it is at loading drum kits (one shots) samples into banks and storing them in the xr. Velocity switching is a huge factor in building my drumkits, so any info would be great.
hey man, yeah fantom xrs r great, i got 1 too, phat sounds! Do u know if its possible 2 customise yr own drum sounds on the fantom xr? i always struggle making beats as you can only use the samples provided in each drum kit setting. reckognise that sitar - nicely done!
There is a sampler in fantom, but I haven't never used it. I think that you can upload your own drums to fantom. If I don't find what I want from fantom, I just use sampled drums from my computer or mix several different drums together. I prefer to shut down every effect that is in fantom cause those are not the best effects that there is. I use dry sound and after the beat is ready, I put in all the effects like reverb, chrus, delays, etc. That way u can choose the sound you want.
Hmm.. I really don't remember, but I try. :D I think that there was 4 or 8Gb Ram, about 2600Mhz dual core prosessor. I have also modified windwos so it won't use that much capacity.
Those sounds are raw fantom sounds and I didn't mix that yet. I will mix it if someone wants to buy it. Thanks for watching and for a comment. I appreciate it.
miltä nuo b2030:t kuulostaa geneihin verrattuna?

I wanted to know if you mix on them and if so
how do you keep the bass from being overpowering when you go to the car

Are you satisfied with the genelecs? I have a pair of KRK VXT 6, but they are very large when I'm mixing.

I haven't had any problems with genelecs, but you need a sub with them. Great speakers!

and ofcourse you need to hear what's going on. So speakers do matter that much. You can't use tweeters to mix bass track.

@proyo1985 Well spoken... Loving the way you dropped the piano not extremely complex but not simple... 5/5

Gtrplyr1 2 years ago
Those smaller ones are Genelec 8020 and those are realle precise. With decent acoustics and subwoofer, I really recommend these.
Thanks for watching!
