Michael Biehn is an awesome actor indeed. I like this idea of yours. It shows that sometimes ordinary people can think of better ideas than professionals. At least Alien Resurrection didn't kill off any vital characters anyway, even though I wouldn't exactly put it on my top ten fave movies of all time list.

@currycatdrone Well I don't. The Alien series went down hill after Aliens, meaning Aliens was the last good one they made, Alien3, Alien Resurrection, AVP, and AVPR sucked and there is no reason to continue the series after those horrible sequels.
Love the idea! As you can see from my channel description for those of you who read those things, I loved the first two, and feel that the 3rd and 4th should have never been made. I mean, how could they kill Hicks? and Newt? I so think that they should make a movie that ignores the last two, And there is no way in hell i think that they could cast someone else to play Hicks. Michael Biehn is the only person worthy of it and who can bury the last two. Predators was really good, ending was wierd=D
The reason I thought the ending was wierd was because of that new Predator, and how it was like a new breed. At first I didn't like it because Predators just don't kill other Predators, sure they punish them if it was ever needed but it sort of went agianst the grain to see this new one. I really want a sequel to explain what was up with this one.

@michaelbiehnlover But like I said, I really want Michael Biehn in this but I don't know if he'd accept it because he said in an interview that he "washed his hands of Aliens" after he got killed off in Alien3. But I thought, since this ignores 3 he may want to come back.
They explain that they are a different type of Predator, like the difference between dog and wolf, regular Predators are the dogs and the Super Predators such as Berserker was a wolf and there is a blood feud between them.

@GENESIS2789 Yes! That's what I like to hear. About Sigourney Weaver, she's only going to be in the story till the very end and she'll only be in it for like five or ten minutes. I'm not going to recast the original actress who played Newt, I'm going to cast a much younger actress. As for Hicks, Michael Biehn is about 54 but I still think he can play Hicks once again, plus his age makes him look experienced like an old war hero. I'm going to make a video that tells my story stay so tuned.

dude I went to see Predators at midnight yesterday. I was actually very pleased with what they did. It was great to finally see some good done to franchise. @Lizardzazar Are you insane? Newt was a great character, she didn't destroy the second movie she improved it and she didn't deserve to die. In fact Alien3 is what destroyed Aliens, it made everything they went through, Ripley trying to save Newt all pointless and all for shit. Ripley went through hell and back to save that little girl and she dies in the next one, biggest piece of shit ever.

Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection were complete flunks, nothing will make me take that back. They completely ruined the series for me, and I would LOVE a redo/ reboot. Your story idea sounds FANTASTIC, much better than the two sequels that made no sense whatsoever, or at least, number 4 didn't.
You plan to incorporate an evil scientist/ colony group? That is basically what has happened in EVERY Alien movies, comics, and books.

A lot of people hated Alien 3 and a lot of people hated Alien Resurrection. I think that the assembly cut of Alien 3 was much better than the theatrical cut and in my mind, anyway, replaces the theatrical cut since it makes so much more sense.
As for Resurrection... ...Whedon wrote that mess.. but I might be giving it a viewing to form a better opinion on it.
Also, I'm sure you got my private message, but PREDATORS also ignores Predator 2 as well, so... that sucks.

It's doesn't mater which edition was better, the theatrical cut is the real story and doesn't matter they killed off Newt and Hicks and I will never forgive them for that. And it doesn't make more sense, if the Alien birthed from an ox it would have horns.
But that's not the point, what do you think of an Alien movie that ignores 3 and 4?
Honestly? I don't care.. As long as you keep the life cycle without changing it, as long as you keep the concept that Aliens inherit traits from their host.

Well remember I'm ignoring Alien3 so I won't be using the Aliens inherit traits from their host, the only thing I like about that is the Predalien other then that it's a little dumb, but it doesn't matter all my Aliens birth from humans.
Like I said, how does the assembly cut make more sense, wouldn't an Alien birth from an ox have horns? A dog makes more sense.
Well to be honest, the assembly cut, as you said, either way isn't canon... By what I mean that the movie makes sense is me using that term for the human characters. There is definitely a more in depth development to all of the characters in the assembly cut in Alien 3. There are more back stories to the human characters is what I meant to say.
But you're right, the Alien should've had horns and been bulkier.

@WolfPred101 Well Aliens still had some scary elements, the first fight scene in the nest, the Facehugger attack, the Alien attack in Operations, the vent chase, and the second nest scene. I didn't think they were scary but it fit the horror element.
hey ScarPredator040365) , that was camerons idea was to ignore 3 and 4, by rectitfying it,. i talked to a rep who worked for 20th century fox,and they said it would have took place on earth in the future, would have been a major jump from aliens with wide atmosphereic worlds and enviorments. the cast was,sigourney,mike beine,new newt, and arnold schwartzeneger.but jim dumped his script due to avp being made, it really pissed him off..
@johnmkrs83 to be honest what i mean by recitfying what happend after aliens, personally i could only see jim cameron calling 3 and 4 a dream that ripley had through her cryo sleep from the end of aliens.personally thats what i would do and it seems the only realistic way to do it ,the guy also said he saw some fan artwork for the film in somones office ,and it was queen alien on top of the statue of liberty, they wanted to emphasize on it being a earth war, would have been great i bet.
@johnmkrs83, plus if you didnt know, in avatar the combat suites that were used were the original designs for ALIENS ,being simlar to 1959 starship troopers novel which ALIENS did use for charecter devolpment for the ALIENS cast. cameron came up with his own vision ' the power loader'. so those suites you saw in avatar would have been in aliens 5 if it was made, but thanks to avp, never happend. that should had gave you idea what alien 5 was could have been like.
Sounds like a cool idea, a way better idea at that! It makes more logical sense to cast Newt as an adult character! Alien 3 was okay but your version sounds better!

A lot of people hated Alien 3 and a lot of people hated Alien Resurrection. I think that the assembly cut of Alien 3 was much better than the theatrical cut and in my mind, anyway, replaces the theatrical cut since it makes so much more sense.
As for Resurrection... ...Whedon wrote that mess.. but I might be giving it a viewing to form a better opinion on it.
Also, I'm sure you got my private message, but PREDATORS also ignores Predator 2 as well, so... that sucks.

@RakaiThwei I know, it ignores Predator 2 you told me.
It's doesn't mater which edition was better, the theatrical cut is the real story and doesn't matter they killed off Newt and Hicks and I will never forgive them for that. And it doesn't make more sense, if the Alien birthed from an ox it would have horns.
But that's not the point, what do you think of an Alien movie that ignores 3 and 4?

Honestly? I don't care.. As long as you keep the life cycle without changing it, as long as you keep the concept that Aliens inherit traits from their host.

@RakaiThwei Thanks. Like I said, I hated that they killed off Newt and Hicks so I want to bring them back by ignoring 3 and 4.
Well remember I'm ignoring Alien3 so I won't be using the Aliens inherit traits from their host, the only thing I like about that is the Predalien other then that it's a little dumb, but it doesn't matter all my Aliens birth from humans.
Like I said, how does the assembly cut make more sense, wouldn't an Alien birth from an ox have horns? A dog makes more sense.

Well to be honest, the assembly cut, as you said, either way isn't canon... By what I mean that the movie makes sense is me using that term for the human characters. There is definitely a more in depth development to all of the characters in the assembly cut in Alien 3. There are more back stories to the human characters is what I meant to say.
But you're right, the Alien should've had horns and been bulkier.

@WolfPred101 Well Aliens still had some scary elements, the first fight scene in the nest, the Facehugger attack, the Alien attack in Operations, the vent chase, and the second nest scene. I didn't think they were scary but it fit the horror element.

hey ScarPredator040365) , that was camerons idea was to ignore 3 and 4, by rectitfying it,. i talked to a rep who worked for 20th century fox,and they said it would have took place on earth in the future, would have been a major jump from aliens with wide atmosphereic worlds and enviorments. the cast was,sigourney,mike beine,new newt, and arnold schwartzeneger.but jim dumped his script due to avp being made, it really pissed him off..

@johnmkrs83 to be honest what i mean by recitfying what happend after aliens, personally i could only see jim cameron calling 3 and 4 a dream that ripley had through her cryo sleep from the end of aliens.personally thats what i would do and it seems the only realistic way to do it ,the guy also said he saw some fan artwork for the film in somones office ,and it was queen alien on top of the statue of liberty, they wanted to emphasize on it being a earth war, would have been great i bet.

@johnmkrs83, plus if you didnt know, in avatar the combat suites that were used were the original designs for ALIENS ,being simlar to 1959 starship troopers novel which ALIENS did use for charecter devolpment for the ALIENS cast. cameron came up with his own vision ' the power loader'. so those suites you saw in avatar would have been in aliens 5 if it was made, but thanks to avp, never happend. that should had gave you idea what alien 5 was could have been like.
